For many years our users have asked for a system that allows the Helpinstill Grand Piano Sensor to be firmly attached inside the piano, eliminating the need to remove the pickup from a grand piano when it is moved on its side. We are pleased to announce this new system that adapts ANY Helpinstill Grand Sensor to be rigidly attached inside the piano. Although it is sometimes referred to as a “permanent install,” it is quickly and simply disconnected from the piano frame with no damage or alteration when necessary. Special screws attach to the support bars in the middle and high regions, replacing the padded pedestals resting on the soundboard. These screws reach down between the strings, and allow precise adjustment, while bars on top securely attach to the piano frame. The bass-region sensor is likewise attached to the frame where it already rests. This system is usable with any Grand Piano system previously made by Helpinstill, and can be bought as an accessory with any current purchase.
Models that work with it include Model 120, 180, 135, 280, 235;
ANY grand system, new or old.
